With just a day to go until the big race in Kentucky, here is a look at the latest odds being offered by the major players.

BetUS.com’s Racebook is currently unsurprisingly quoting Zenyatta as the favourite for the Classic at +250 (5/2). Something that is quite surprising though for such a large field is that the best outsider odds you can take a punt on are +4000 (40/1). If you fancy a wildcard which is not a bad option with such a big field, you can currently get the longest odds on General Quarters and A Little Warm.

In 2009 Presious Passion looked like he was well on his way to capturing the title. But the last 100 yards, defending champion Conduit rallied from the back of the pack to pass the leader in deep stretch for the victory. The only female in the field, Dar Re Mi, rounded out the top 3. With Conduit’s retirement, a new winner will be crowned in 2010.”
